Cancellation policy
1) Cancellation in written form
Cancellation is possible at any time in written form (e.g., by email). The decisive factor for the deadline is the date on which the cancellation is received by the landlord.
2) The Great Depression
In the event of a cancellation, the landlord may demand a flat-rate compensation fee. The following conditions apply (based on the agreed total price including booked additional services):
- up to 14 days before arrival: free of charge
- From 13 days prior to arrival (inclusive) up to and including the day of arrival / in case of no-show: 100%
3) Proof of lesser damage / alternative rental
The guest expressly reserves the right to prove that the landlord incurred no damage or significantly less damage. If the apartment can be rented out to another party, either wholly or partially, the compensation will be reduced accordingly.
4) Shortened stay / early departure
In case of no-show, shortened stay, or early departure, there is generally no entitlement to a refund for unused nights. A credit will be given if the apartment can be rented to another party or if demonstrably saved expenses are incurred.
5) Payment processing in case of cancellation
If payment has already been made, it will be refunded within a reasonable timeframe after deduction of any applicable cancellation fees. If no payment has yet been made, any applicable cancellation fees will be invoiced accordingly.
